The area is located in the western part of Espergærde, immidiately, north of a new residential development, of which this site contitutes phase 2.
A master plan has been prepared for the area, and the Municipality of Elsinore indtends to develop a new planning framework for the project.
The area will be used for year-round housing such as low density housing (e.g. terraced or clustered housing). There will be oppurtunities to establish some of the homes as assisted living residences and senior housing. Institutional facilities, such as private nursing homes, may also be incorporated.
