In Kalundborg Municipality, new residential development is underway, focusing on more sustainable construction, enhanced nature quality, and village clusters that strengthen communities and promote new solutions.

The project area is located with Spangsbro Town to the south, a recreational protected forest area to the east, and open countryside (agricultural land) to the north and west.

The idea is to use the qualities of the surroundings and integrate them into the new development, where the interplay between village, forest, and open land should be noticeable—by allowing forest elements and the open landscape to the north and west to shape the new part of the village.
